Bethania, founded in 1991 at Pullurampara, is Thamarassery Diocese’s retreat centre promoting spiritual renewal, Christian formation, healing, prayer, sacraments, and community.











Bethania is the official retreat centre of the diocese of Thamarassery, established in 1991 at Pullurampara to nurture spiritual renewal and Christian formation. Rooted in the Catholic faith, Bethania offers a prayerful atmosphere where individuals, families, and religious communities come together for retreats, conventions, and spiritual counseling. The centre focuses on the Word of God, sacraments, personal conversion, and healing.
With the support of priests, religious, and committed lay teams, Bethania has become a beacon of hope and transformation for thousands. Guided by the vision of a Christ-centered life, Bethania continues to inspire faithful living across North Kerala and beyond.

We now run shelter homes, schools and a reasonable mess that helps such needy young people. We also have our helpline offices spread throughout the country so one can approach us anytime they need help.

Our Monthly Programmes

Bethania Retreat Centre holds a five-day Jeevitha Vishudheekarana retreat monthly, offering prayer, workshops, and Eucharistic adoration. On the third Friday, a One-Day Convention runs from 9 AM to 1 PM, with prayer and meditation. Other programs support spiritual growth throughout the month.
