Bethania –
A Beacon of Spiritual Nurture and Healing

Bethania is the official retreat centre of the Diocese of Thamarassery, founded in 1994 under the leadership of Mar Sebastian Mankuzhikary, the first bishop of the diocese. Located in Pullurampara, Calicut, Bethania is a vibrant centre for spiritual renewal, healing, and prayer. It welcomes thousands seeking peace and transformation through the Word of God.
Now guided by Bishop Mar Remigiose Inchananiyil, Bethania continues its mission of nurturing faith and supporting the spiritual needs of the community.

ജീവിത വിശുദ്ധീകരണ ധ്യാനം

Residential retreats are conducted every month on pre-announced dates. The retreat begins on Friday by 4:00 PM and concludes on Monday by 2:00 PM. These stay-in retreats offer deep spiritual experiences

ഏകദിന കണ്‍വെന്‍ഷന്‍

Held every Friday from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, including special sessions on: Inner healing,
Spiritual sharing, Counselling
Confession, Anointing prayer
Holy Mass, Adoration, Intercession

അഖണ്ഡ ജപമാല സമര്‍പ്പണം

Akhanda Japamala Samarppanam (July 16–October 24, 2026) is a 101-day rosary, reflection, and renewal program.

കുരിശിന്റെ വഴി

The Way of the Cross is conducted daily throughout the year, except on Sundays during the 50 days of the Great Lent.

വിശുദ്ധ കുര്‍ബാന

Holy Mass is celebrated daily at 6:00 AM and 12:00 Noon, and additionally at 7:00 PM during the 25-day Lent, the 50-day Great Lent, and the Akhanda Japamala Samarppanam.

Intercessory Prayer

Intercessory prayers are held Monday to Saturday, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, led by the Bethania prayer team.
